Top 3 Thursday: Celebrities

3. Julia Roberts but she had to be #3 since she supports Obama and for that I almost didnt let her make my top three list; however, Stepmom (singing "Aint no mountain high enough) is one of my favorite movies along with Pretty Woman and Runaway Bride.

2. Jennifer Anniston- I mean she was married to Brad Pitt plus she was in Friends, one of the best sitcoms ever! I also loved her in Along Came Polly, Love Happens, He's Just Not that into You and the newest, Bounty Hunter. Classy girl and always looks beautiful with or without makeup.

1. Reese Witherspoon-Three Words: Sweet Home Alabama..............my favorite movie!!! I love it at the end of the movie when she looks at Jake and says "So I can kiss you anytime I want." I also am in love with an old movie Reese was in when she was a little girl called Man in the Moon. I am also a fan of a Reese in the Legally Blonde movies and Walk the Line. On more than one occasion people have told me I resembled her...........it must be the blonde hair and blue eyes! I think she is beautiful so I will take that as a complement anyday! :)

3. Nashville

This summer me, Lauren, Sushannah and Lacey went to Nashvegas to celebrate mine and Lacey's birthday and we had an absolute blast!!! Memories were made that will never be forgotten! :) We visited the Country Music Hall of Fame, had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe and enjoyed the nightlife of the city.

2. Las Vegas

The day after I graduated with my MBA from Troy; Keri, Sushannah, Rachel and I all flew to Vegas and had a fantabulous time. We stayed at the Stratosphere, gambled, saw the Thunder from Down Under and a Cirque de Soleil show. We also rented a car and drove to the Hoover Dam. Flying the red eye home may not have been the best idea but the overall trip was a success!

#1-Italy!!

When I was a freshman in high school, I went to Italy for two weeks and even though I was really too young to appreciate it as I would now; I had an incredible time. We went to Venice, Verona, Pisa, Milan, Florence and Rome. We spent a few nights in each of the cities and saw everything there was to see. Also, since digital cameras were not popular in 2000; my pictures are all in a box and maybe one day I will get to scan them in. I will post some images of the landmarks I saw.

I have also enjoyed visiting Lousiana, Florida, Jamaica and Cozumel. I will be going to NYC and Cozumel in May so I sure I will have a favorites post about each of those vacation spots once I get back! Until then I am taking it one day at a time and just trying to survive busy season! :)

Happy Birthday Mom!!

I truly believe my mother is the best. She has raised 8 wonderful children and still manages to hold it all together. Shelby, Terri and I surprised her with a trip to the beach on her birthday weekend. We had dinner at the Back Porch followed by a trip to Howl at the Moon, a piano bar. We had such a great time dancing and just being together! We even got Mom on stage!

Fight Night Fun!!

So last night I had the pleasure of meeting up with Ben to catch up and we decided to venture off and watch Fight Night at a local Bham joint and actually had a great time!! I have decided that I will start training soon and have already found the perfect pink boxing gloves!!!!

Time flies by when you are having FUN.....

So the past few months have flown by and I am thoroughly enjoying the summer!!!

Lauren and I attended the first Art on the Rocks for this season and we had a great time doing the scavenger hunt and making our own masterpieces. I won a $500 gift certificate to Bromberg's!! Happy Early Birthday to me!

I went home for Father's Day and got to see my sister Terri who is having a little girl on September 18th! She is so stinking cute and you can hardly tell she is pregnant!!

This weekend me and three girls from high school are going to Nashville to celebrate the 4th!

Dave Matthews Concert and Ray Lamontagne Concert

I went to see Dave Matthews on 4/20 right here in Pelham down the street from my house and had first section tickets!!! Dave did he rendition of Burning down the house which was amazing!!! I am a huge DMB fan and saw him in Atlanta a few years ago and his concerts are always a sure treat that never disappoints!!!

On 4/27, the following Monday I got to see Ray Lamontage (pronounced La-mon-tain) in concert at the Alabama Theater which is a beautiful place to watch a concert. We sat in the front row of the balcony and had amazing seats. Ray's music has been on Grey's Anatomy and the movie, The Devil Wears Prada. The concert was great!!

For a girl who has such musical roots Birmingham is definitely the place for me to be!!!

Crawfish Boil 2009

This past weekend Sushannah came up to visit which is always a treat!!
Sushannah is one of the best friends a girl could ask for! She mean the world to me and has been with me through thick and thin. On Friday night, we went to the Crawfish Boil with Lauren and my brother, Shannon. We saw LL Cool J and Jason Mraz. It was ok but definetly crowded and so filthy. So we opted out on going the second night and went to have dinner at Jackson's Bisto in SOHO instead and of course we went out after that and partied like rockstars and Sushannah got to experience Nana Funk's which I think is something everyone should experience at least once!
I had a wonderful weekend and can's wait for her to come back and visit again!!!! Love you Sus!
